hello.
I am rather new to cell phones, having never owned one in my life (15 years)
I can get any sprint phone.
If you could get any sprint phone which one would you get?

Re: Need Help Choosing a Phone
Well I personally would get a Blackberry Curve.
But since you haven't ever had one in your life I guess the next question is if you have any experiance at all with them.
A fairly easy to naviagate one is the LG Rumor. It's a great messaging device. It's easy to make calls with and to understand.

I would go for BB. You can get all the list of cell phones at Billshrink.com. This will help you to choose the cell phone.

Re: Need Help Choosing a Phone
Ok, I have an upgrade comin in less than a week. so I have been looking closely at the phones.
I am not going to get any unless they allow me to get the new customer discount, but if I do get that here are my thoughts on what I have looked into.
Instinct.
Awesome phone, but you need a huge plan for over $60 a month minimum, this price is not terrible though, so if you dont mind, awesome, get it, NOW!
Lotus
Expensive phone and I hear it is about as ugly as sin due to its fat square shape. The phone is loaded, but no more loaded than the:
Rant
I am very interested in this phone, but I am very fast at T9 so do not need the full keyboard, but still it is a beautiful phone, great price, and I can get it in a color that matches my car "http://raize.deviantart.com/art/Flowery-Excellent-87797636" or a beautiful black with nice blue accent.
HighNote
This phone is nice, but nothing about it is that great. The phone looks like a cheaper chocolate and that is basically what it is, only with a speaker you can flip the phone down to expose, however, based on reviews it seems that the phone has a pretty annoying method of getting your your music and other media and I dont know...just not as good as the Rant at this point
Blackberry Pearl
This phone is a fully features awesome unit, VERY full featured which may be overwhelming to a standard phone user and also the keyboard is something which I never could get used to very well, but it looks pretty and has pretty much anything you can ask for except a touch screen
Blackberry Curve
This is the phone I want, I believe it is a step up from the pearl, great deal for a new user at $100 and very fully featured. Full keyboard, nice size, and once again can match my car in color!!!!
The main reason I am on the fence about upgrading is I will not get the full discount a new user will, and I have a employee plan so I really do not want to quit and get a phone as a new user and loose my plan. I would choose another provider if I had to pay a full plan price, probably verizon. Although if sprint is the perfect fit for you, and you do not mind paying over 60 a month, get the instinct for sure, if you want something cheaper, get the Curve, and if that phone is too much for you as far as complexity and features. I say go with the rant. The full keyboard and full features without the complex smart phone interface I believe would be just perfect. If my post helped you out, I would really appreciate a little Rep, Thanks, im running beyond low.
