Why do existing customers phones cost more?

I have Alltel and 3 months before your contract is up you can get any phone for sale price.

That's pretty normal. Sprint's pretty much the same, except theirs is two months before the contract is up.

they have you under contract... they have no reason to give you a deal on a new phone!
