Trading Phones?

Quick question. My brother has a plan on Sprint which he has had for more than like 5 years. I am on his account and so is my mom. Me and him have palm centros. We got my mom the HTC Hero because she was due for an upgrade. She really doesn't like the phone because it is all touch screen and she does not like that. She likes our Centro and would rather have a centro. Could we just unactivate a centro and the Hero and them activate them as the centro hers and the Hero my brothers? Like can we just trade phones but keep our own numbers? If you don't think so we don't mind returning it.

The answer is yes but if you got a rebate on the new phone you will need to keep it activated for 30 days or you will loose any discounts or rebates. Next go online to "activate new phone" enter the information on which ever one to choose to do first, then activate the second phone and your good to go!

wait.. I have to keep it activated on her line? But we got it as an upgrade so it was like $150 so is that what you mean by rebate? Cause we got it from Wirefly.
And can I just activate them online without worrying about talking to anyone?

You would need to repay the upgrade rebate, If I were you I would return the phone as per Wireflys terms and conditions, then contact Sprint directly as you should be a "Premier customer" by now.

Remember you must keep any phone activated with a upgrade and or additional rebate a minimum of 30 days (check with Sprint for full details) or you will forfeit all benefits.
