Three new handsets have been unveiled by Sprint and they are the: Samsung Transform as seen in the first picture, Kyocera Sanyo Zio (second picture) and the LG Optimus S (last picture). All three handsets come with Android as well as Sprint ID that let users to download ID packs and apps, ringtones, widgets and wallpapers quickly.

The first phone, Samsung Transform, is similar to the Epic 4G but smaller and without the 4G and without a lot of the high end features. Some of the features of the Samsung Transform include: a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5 inch HVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 800MHz processor, front-facing VGA camera for video chat, and a 3.2MP photo camera on the back.

Android 2.1 that will soon be upgraded to 2.2 Froyo later this year runs on the Samsung Transform. Price of the Transform via Sprint is $149.99 on contract and after a $100 mail in rebate. The phone should go on sale on October 10.

The second handset, the Sanyo Zio, comes with Android 2.1, 3.5 inch WVGA display, GPS, 3.2MP camera and will sell for $99.99 on contract. The Sanyo Zio will also begin selling on October 10.

The third and last phone is the Sprint LG Optimus S, which is a modified version of the LG Optimus One and comes with Android 2.2 Froyo, 3.2 inch HVGA display, virtual QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3.2MP camera. Price of the Optimus S will be $49.99 with contract and after a $100 mail in rebate and will begin selling on October 30.
