Sprint Sierra 3g/4g

I have a Sierra Sprint 3g/4g card. I am now going to be mainly outside the US. As a result Sprint was nice enough to let me out of my new contract. I had already paid for the Sierra upfront.
At Bestbuy, the guy who sells me laptops told me I should put the Sierra on Ebay. I have closed my Sprint account. I was wondering on the Sierra if I sell it is ther a way I need to reset it before I sell it? If I click on it, it still shows my old Sprint email name and the phone number associated with the device although as I said the account is disconnected. I would appreciate any advice.
