News: Sprint Samsung Conquer 4G will be available August 21

Announced in June, the Sprint Samsung Conquer 4G was was reported to be one of the affordable handsets that supported 4G WiMax. Sprint has announced that the Samsung Conquer 4G will be available on August 21 and will be sold at RadioShack.

If you purchase the Conquer 4G from Sprint, you will pay $99.99 when you sign a new 2 year contract and after a $50 mail in rebate. Purchase the same handset from RadioShack and you will get it for $30 dollars less...$69.99. Of course the 2 year contract still applies.

Features of the Sprint Samsung Conquer 4G include: a 1 GHz processor, a 3.5-inch HVGA (480×320) touchscreen, a 3.2 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, a preinstalled 2 GB microSD card, Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, and a 1500 mAh battery. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
