what is the ready link thing? thats not what sprint is callin the direct connect thing is it?

From what I've seen, it's about as fast as talking to someone (cellular) that is standing next to you. So, there is about a 1-2 second delay. And yes, Ready Link is the name of their Direct Connect.

i have fun with it, and appearantly the newer phone connect much faster (ie the toshiba 4050 connects in 2-4 sec vs the sanyo which is 5-7 sec)

My 5500 connects in 2 - 4 seconds. Might be the fact I am between 3 towers, I don't know. But it never takes longer than that.

i have found readylink very useful and takes me no longer than 2 seconds. i am glad sprint stepped there game up against nextel.

ready link is something new to sprint, but why not just got unlimited sprint-to-sprint??

Readylink allows you to group call several people and unlimited pcs to pcs calling doesnt.
If you want a Great Sprint phone go get yourself a SANYO 5600...The hotness!!!
