I am in a bind and needed a phone like, yesterday. I am looking to buy a HTC MyTouch 4g that is a contract phone used over on T-Mobile. It is all clear, bill paid up. I want to know if it is easy to unlock, how to do so for FREE, if it can be switched over to Straight Talk, and if the SIM card from my old Straight Talk phone, an T528g running off of Straight Talk, can be put into that HTC phone. This all needs to be completed ASAP, at least by Thursday evening because I am going into hospital Friday for major surgery for I am quite ill and I shouldn't even be alone here without a phone and will be bed bound for months afterwards. I wish to purchase this phone by tomorrow so I need to know ASAP. I have an Android through Straight Talk now that I am not currently using, the LG Optimus Q, that they are sending me a replacement for that will not be here for at least 20 days by the time I send the faulty one back and I don't have a phone right now. They were giving me the run around and the thing with the Android was we could not get the 'update profile' to update to get the phone to working status. They said the Verizon tower in town was not sending out a strong enough 3g signal or some bull like that. So they are sending me a new one. Anyways...I need to know answers to my above question ASAP. Please someone help me. Thank you!

Re: Need Help Adding HTC My Touch to Straight Talk

I realize you posted this a while ago, but all would need to do is get the mytouch unlocked and it should work on Straight Talk. To get internet & mms you would need to change the APN settings to straight talks settings:

    NAME: straight talk
    APN: att.mvno
    PORT: 80
    MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
    MMS PROXY: 66.209.11.33
    MMS PORT: 80
