does anyone know if the V710 is coming to Tmobile?

I just talked to someone at t-mobile and they confirmed they are getting the v710, which from what I can tell is a great phone by the way, they just don't know when. I was told sometime in oct they are getting a new batch of phones and it should be among them.

wow really? if so thats great timing bcuz I was thinking of getting the v600 around that time but I really want that 710..now if I can just pull myself away from gta san andreas long enuff to get to the mall....

what!!!!! I've been waiting for that game forever it's on back order where I'm at. but if you haven't, check out all the features for the v710 at hellomoto.com it kicks a$$.

t-mobile is not gettin the v710, v710 is a CDMA phone not GSM, t-mobile is a GSM carrier, meaning that the v710 would be INCOMPATIBLE with t-mobile service, sorry fellas, i would want that phone too its got a **** load of features, but its cdma, and im not a fan of motorola anyway

thats just because Verizon itself works on a cdma network..there have been numerous cell phones that are 'upgraded,' so to speak, or reconfigured and released later on another carrier such as the T720 which later became the T722i...either way, does anyone know for a fact whether or not the v710 is being released on TMobile?

its not, and if the v710 was reconfigured the model number would be different so as to have the difference noted, besides, the v710 is the first CDMA bluetooth phone

that was my point, referrring to the model number possibly being changed..what I'm asking is how do u KNOW that it isn't being released on TMobile?..and also, what does being the frist cdma bluetooth phone have to do with it?....and griffzan did u really speak to someone from TMobile who confirmed it?

Yes call t-mobile in your area. And also check the motorolla web site they'll have a feature in there that will send you an e-mail when it's coming, I had the same arguement with someone....? about the v600. And guess who was right..... Me. But some places may be getting later than others so make sure to include where your from and so on when you ask. Also call motorolla ask them what the update will be if any to the version and model# on the phone. I really can't see as to why the same people that told me the v600 was coming would lie about the v710.

well its not that I don't believe you griffzan, I'm actually happy to hear about the fone coming to tmobile, I just want to make sure bcuz vidguy said its not but the way he put it just sounds like speculation, why, I don't know but either way thanks for the info

News update, I just read sundays paper (yes I know it's thursday) and in the tech section of the paper (flint journal) it announced the new phones that where coming out, although not specificly for t-mobile, and motorolla is coming out with a new phone thats supposed to work just like a cigital camcorder, no pics though if someone has any info on this phone let me know. I know it has a usb link and can store up to 3 hrs of video
