I was wondering if I bought the Motorola V300 from Amazon.com for $100 and bought an un-used T-Mobile SIM Card from either eBay or an online dealer if this would work and I would be able to use the phone without any problems or without spending anymore money. Also would I need to go to a T-Mobile store to get it activated or could I do it over the phone or something? Would this cost money or would the SIM card be doing this.

is the phone and its the same exact phone included in the starter kit and would figure I would save my self some money and buy the charger and clip seperately and a SIM on eBay for a bit cheaper.

    Thanks in advance.

!!!EDIT!!! Well I just noticed that I need to purchase a plan for that phone, but if I bought a phone on eBay that was already T-Mobile and bought a SIM would I be fine??

Should be all you should have to do is call t-mobile to activate your sim card if it hasn't already been
