Could someone please tell me how to retrieve TEST messages from a Nokia 3595 cell phone. What I'm trying to do is locate messages that have been sent or received from a certain phone. I have supoenaed the cell phone company for records of text, but this may be a waste of time. Would it help having the phone? I was hoping the cellular service would store these messages for a period of time. Can anyone please help me.
    Desperate,
    Thank a million

Sorry but although they can see who sent the message and what time there is no way to see the content of those messages (there may be a way if you have the phone and deleted the messages to get them back, if a cell phones memory is anything like a computers)

    Text Retrieval

Remember the Kobe Bryant case where the text messages where retrieved? I have been told by a few people that the text is stored in cold storage in some cases up to a year, and with a supoena it can be retrieved. I just hope T-Mobile don't play hard ball, since I owned the phone at the time of questionable text.
    Thanks for the reply.
Any others out there? I really would like to hear from any body that may know something about this!
If you know, it may be worth some money to you!

It is our understanding that because the text message is sent to the handset there is no writing record of text messages
