the only way you can get free ringtones without using internet is by having a cable for your phone and computer, but you have to pay for the cable. otherwise the only way you can get ringtones is by sending them to your phone as attachments in an email to [email protected] but it'll be 25 cents a message, so either way, you'll be spending some money for the ringtones you send to your phone

MP3 Ringtones (with Tooldef6) - geocities.com/dj_mystik2001Down indefinitely I need to get back into my CPF flow again before i relaunch it!

well you gotta make sure the ringtone format is compatible with your phone, and that the file size is small enough to fit through the gateway, otherwise your phone won't get it at all

702kb is pretty big file size for a ringtone. I guess if you use MP3s you'll probably get files that big. Midis can be much smaller, around 5-10kb, and still be of excellent quality.

if you crop a midi and just do a ten second clip you can fit the mp3 in your phone, i think it has to be under 300k or somewhere near there, i'm not sure what the file gateway size is for the v600

Get t-zones, then use your phones' web browser to download whatever the heck you want from popular free ringtone sites... I did that for years with my Sony Ericcson T300...

eBay is going to be the cheapest.

And if you need anything else, such as a car charger, you can find them on eBay in the same auction.

yea usb cables are cheap on ebay, just make sure you check the selling price and shipping price, otherwise you might get screwed over, ie. low price but shipping is tremendous

It's funny how they increase the shipping to get around the seller fees. The lowest shipping for the cables that I've seen is $5.99 which isn't that bad when the cable is .01. That's better than about $35 through T-Mobile and on ebay it comes with the software.
