Hey every1. Im new 2 the board and im actually thinking of possibly switching 2 Tmobile. Does any1 have an oppinion on them? We travel 2 Greece a lot and i want a phone 2 use there. My cousin does work 4 a cell comp there so he can hook me up but the prob is i wanna be able 2 text them and stuff when im here and only tmobile can do that. I have Verizon and im happy with it especially since i got my Nokia. Any other phone Ive had was horrible. I had 2 motorola's ill never do that again. I always had dropped calls and was totally fed up. After I got the Nokia everything worked fine..I almost always have reception like 90% of the time and im thrilled with it after a year. Anyway let me know all your oppinions. Thanks!

hi evelyn, tikanis? if you travel in greece alot then i can say go for t-mo. im from philippine and always go there every year, on my t-mo all i have to do is call customer service to activate my international roaming (free of charge and no monthly fee). if i in the philipines i don't call in the u.s bcoz it is very expensive $2.99 a min. but sending txt masaging is only 23 cents! that why im doing alot of massaging if im in the phillippines to all my friend here in the u.s. not only that! if you you sending txt any where in the world on t-mo it only cost you 10 cents per send not like at&t i think they charge 25 cents per send international. go with t-mo.

don't get verizon or sprint. they use cdma network and i don't know if they have international roaming. there phone don't have a sim card. that why once you get them your stuck with them. not like t-mo, they use gsm. gsm phone have sim card. if you don't like your phone anymore just buy another t-mo phone and put your sim card in that phone and your ready to go. if you don't like your provider. buy cingular or at&t simcard put in your phone and your ready to go again but the phone have to be unlock in order to take sim card from another service provider. my advise is sign up for t-mo. get a tri-band phone. (tri-band phone works all over the world) and if you know somebody know how to unlock cell phone is alot better. if you go to greece and you have tri-band unlock phone all you to do is get a prepaid simcard in greece and put that on your unlock phone and your ready to send txt to the u.s in this way your saving all the international roaming what t-mo is offering. if you live in chicago check this site www.samstores.com chicago. all the cell the sell is 99% brand new and unlock. if you what to unlock your gsm phone check this site www.cellularpager.com
i hope this will help you to choose gsm or cdma.

i've never had a problem with t-mobile, but their international feature would work well for you and also they offer more mintues for your money, im not 100 percent sure how well it will work in chicago, if you want i can do a personal coverage check if you wanna give me your zip code ONLY, i dont want you posting your address but just the zip will do if you want, peace

I have only been with T-Mobile myself for the last few days.. so I don't know if my recommendation is worth anything. My older brother has been a T-Mobile subscriber for 4 years now.. and continues to love his service. He's the one that turned me on to them. They have the best phone selection, and the monthly price is the best as well. You really do "get more" bang for your buck. I believe that they will continue to grow, and the service will only get better.
