That's It, It's over : (

Well guys, my 14 day trial period for my sidekick is over this Saturday! You know what this means? Yep, I am keeping my sidekick! Ive had it for a while now, used it constantly and the outcome results are as follows:
I have not gotten sick of it ( I get sick of phones VERY quickly and easily )
I have not dropped/failed a call ( every other company ive had, always failed )I have great reception ( in places my other phone doesnt get reception )
I love the plan that comes along with it ( it beats my other phones plan )
and basically...
I am just completely satisfied with this entire purchase, its been almost 2 weeks and i STILL love it. Usually within 3-5 days I will KNOW if I am keeping the phone or even want it anymore. This phone passed my huge test and i cant believe it. I knew from the start how bad i wanted the sidekick2 but I always get like that over a new phone. This was the first time (aside from my 9000) that i am COMPLETELY satisfied!! I am only with sprint still because I didnt know about the 14 day trial period meaning that after that i am STUCK with their contract. I thought it was only for the phone. I thought the phones contract was 30 days, for some unknown reason lol. I also found out that with Sprint, you can buy a new phone and if your not satisfied with it within 14 days, you can return it but if your not satisfied with THAT phone, you can return it ONCE and the next phone you get, you are STUCK with OR you buy a whole new phone again. Thats pretty lowsy, especially if its still within the 14 period!! I understand they dont want people getting a new phone everyday and returning it the next but they should be a bit more lenient, ya know? Hey, i dont know.. i just wanted to tell everyone how HAPPY i am with my SIDEKICK2 !!!!!!!!!!!

thank you! so am i, i cant believe how much this phone does, aside from personalized ringers and such, but that is what my sanyo 9000 is for!! =) i see you have the a900, how do u like ur phone??

Can't say I'm 100% happy with this phone.....Having Mp3 playback and only 50 mb storage (and no memory card port) isn't so cool...

That and the fact that you can't use d/l files as ringers! Some new copyright thing..sux


I decided to keep it though as I remind myself how I didn't need those features in my last phone.... And I like that it is slim and easy to keep in your pocket and not even notice that it's there!

wow really? i didnt know u couldnt do any of that!!! so many people were lovin that phone! i came SO close to buying the samsung a920! i hated the 940 cause of the swivel screen.. that didnt appeal to me at all!! im sorry u have a lack of features but think about it, its actually better to have normal ringers than songs..

Unfortunately, SK II is not great as MDA is and thats the point =)... I'm pretty sure once MDA is 100% offically out for sale, and then you'd and see compare to urself on any cnet, zdnet, softpedia, or whatever theres whole more out there to compare between two device <wink>.......

well big, thats your opinion and thats cool, i totally respect that BUT for ME, the sidekick is MY only choice for a phone. but, i am interested to know what people think of it once they get it in their hands... although, nothing can change my mind, the sidekick is my #1 and always will be, unless or until, theres a sidekick3! and even then, im not sure i can part with my sk2.. aaaaah.. YEAH, i probably will part with it for a sk3, IF its better then sk2! =)

I wouldnt say here but SK III is suppose to be more options and better than SK II however its not offical yet I know how you feel abt. I do really love it at first time, but I would like to have Wi-Fi with my exist broadband connection and I would able to use anything at high speed than GPRS speed as you know what I mean =)

MDA is GPRS, EDGE, and Wi-Fi enabled

omg mda sounds ausum... but i cant betray my trusty sidekick, EVER...as nice as it sounds, the sidekicks the only one for me! =)

jeez.. its been SO long since ive been able to say that a phone is absolutely PERFECT for me.. i ALWAYS find and pick flaws from phones...even the sanyo 9000 that i waited weeks for, and scrapped up money to make 450.00 to buy.. i have flaws with! I wont part with it though, i was gonna sell it at first, but.. I CANT.. lol those are my 2 favorite phones!
