The suggestion for getting phones or pdas, covered under renters or homeowners insurance is for people that tend to buy from Ebay or don't like , or can't get carrier phone insurance due to waiting too long.

$1.75??? Hmmmmm.... Sounds like a usage charge. Check your bill details (not the summary), and let us know if it was a charge for paying your bill please. To me it sounds like a call to directory assitance and a five text messages or 2 multimedia messages.

Thanks alot for all your help cseabourn & RRODRIG30,Here's what happened,my phone bill was due on 2/21 so I go to the T-Mobile Store that is closes to me,with my money in hand @ around 2:45 and I talk to the guy working inside,he said the computer was down and I had to come back at around 4:00,I didn't make it back that nite so I had my roomate pay my bill cuz I was goinga be working all day and I wasn't goinga be able to get there on the 22nd.He pays the bill but told me he had to pay an extra $1.75 so my roomate asked him if the extra charge was for being late, and the guy said "no",he said theres always an $1.75 service charge.I will be going back to the store tomorrow so I can find out what it was for.Once again thanks

No Problem! If you get a chance, tell us what exactly that service charge is for when you find out.

bruuse, are you a smartaccess customer?
Often times, Smartaccess customer's confuse 2 things when paying their bill.
1) Balance Due
2) Spending Limit Balance
It could very well be that your Balance Due was $50, and the Spending Limit Balance was $51.75. If that was the case, then only the $50 was due. The remaining $1.75 is part of the charges that you will see on your next billing statement. If you are not a smartaccess customer, then I gotta believe that it is not a corporate T-Mobile store.
If you are a smartaccess customer, please let us know and I'll explain to you in more detail about smartaccess.
