The news that we're getting is that the Sidekick III will feature: Edge/Wi-Fi, a Detachable battery, a Mini SD Card Slot, a Music player, Video Capability and instead of the scroll wheel there is a ball.

Sidekick III roadmap hits the Web
Engadget seems to have the scoop on what's happening with T-Mobile's Sidekick III. According to a report that appeared on the Web site over the weekend, a sneaky mole snapped a picture of what appears to be T-Mobile's roadmap for the Sidekick.
The much talked about new device, which is expected out in April 2006, is expected to be T-Mobile's answer to the mobile music craze. In its initial version the device is expected to have access to T-Mobile's data network, a memory card slot, and built-in music player software. According to the "roadmap" -- which could be a fake, Engadget isn't verifying its authenticity?the second version of the Sidekick III set for introduction in September 2006 will supposedly support unlicensed mobile access (UMA), a standard that allows devices to roam between GSM cellular networks and Wi-Fi networks.
The next Sidekick to debut after Sidekick III is code-named the "Sidekick NG" and will likely hit the market in June 2007, the site said. The Sidekick NG is expected to support music, video, and UMA.
The Sidekick II, which was developed by Danger and is manufactured by Sharp, took the U.S. market by storm with celebrities such as Demi Moore, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Aniston, and Justin Timberlake among its fans. The device offers email access, instant messaging and Web access.
