    I'm a prepaid Gophone AT&T customer (now under Cingular). with a $49 monthy, 500 minutes + unlimited nights/weekends.

I wanna switch to a plan but I dunno what company would be the best. I only can choose between Tmobile or Cingular cause my phone is only compatible with those two. (and I dont want to change that phone it is great).

I wish cingular would still have their plan at $49, 900 minutes with unlimited night & weekend + free calls to cingular custumors. I woulve take that one but now the minimum is $59.

so I was thinkin about T-Mobile with their $39.99, 600 minutes, with unlimited N/W and maybe the $7 for unlimited between tmobiles, but i'm kinda scared the coverage will not be as great as at&t/cingular and its has much less customers.

    ps: im in new york.

so maybe u can help me. thanx

Now, Cingular has a $39.99 plan which includes 450 anytime Rollover minutes, 5000 N&W's, and Unl. M2M. But if you are covered by T-Mobile and the Rollover isn't really that appealing, T-Mobile is offering 1000 min. for $49.99/mo. with Unl. N&W's.

Yes but looking over you past bills, how many nights and weekend hours have you actually used, during any one billing period?

Your bills will tell you home many N&W and before 9pm calls you have made, to help you find out if 5000 is not enough or not.

TMO and Cingular are roaming buddies. They roam on eachothers network when normal service is out of range by your current provider (weather it be TMO or Cingular). You phone should automatically connect to the Cingular one once you are out of a TMO tower range. If are on a national plan with TMO there are no roaming charges. I think there are two pluses to consider for choosing the TMO side a) they have a unlimited messaging (video, text, im, mms) plan for $14.99 (something that is non existant on the Cingular side) and b) TMO just rolled out their answer to AllTel's My Circle. TMOs My Faves plan gets 5 of the people that you talk to the most unlimited calling within that circle of 5 friends. TMO shot AllTels service out of the water by allowing you to change your 5 friends almost instantly through the phone itself! Ther MyFaves plan is 1000 minutes plus the unlimited minutes for people in your 5 faves list, unlimited nights/weekends, unlimited mobile to mobile is $6.99
