i was told a release date for the SK3

my contract w/ verizon expires May 10th, so I went into a Tmobile store to get info on the SK2-- the salesman said that they have stopped getting shipments of the SK2 and that they will be getting the SK3 late June, early July. He said the new SK is bluetooth capable, a little faster (while on the internet) and the phone itself is a little more compact.

I guess Im waiting until the new SK comes out now- before I switch to Tmobile.... has anyone else been given any info about this?

It's actually June 10th

I was just told June 10th at my T-Mobil dealer.

The release dates are all rumors even though they might say it's confirm and official. The truth is, it's not.

I don't see it coming out this summer. I think most likely it will be out in the fall for Christmas shopping and the last 2 Sidekicks came out in the fall.

I will be surprise and shocked if it comes out in the summer.

Yeah i heard July 10th. Mark Cuban got his like a week ago.

I wouldn't trust release dates, I would just wait till it comes out.
I am sure everyone will announce the day it is released. Everyone always does.

official word on TMobile Sk3 release is:

June 28th - released internally to employees and Existing customers through Tmobile's upgrade program. as well as in 2 retails stores in the nation (for new activations) and those are in Santa Monica CA and in New York City NY.

then on July 10th, the Sk3 will be released to the rest of the nation and be officially available for new activations.

Just another examply of how Tmobile treats its existing Customers Better and better and gives them more!

Released dates are always aproximate, they can always changed if testing doesn't go as plan or when problems with softwares and firmwares arise.
