    How is your Tmobile reception?

I used to be with Verizon and it was fabulous.

I'm with Cingular now and its AWFUL.

Fill me in on any information, Thanks

Check what kind of reception you will have in the area you're in, great/good/fair/none: http://compass.t-mobile.com/Default.aspx

Unless you give us your location, comparisons will not make a difference if they're not in your region.

    Re: Reception?

T-mobiles service may vary GREATLY depending on what phone you are talking on...Also most major cities will have service and they also cover all of the interstates but not too good with rural towns. Recently in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area T-mobiles coverage continues to improve and improve as they add more cell cites and in some areas it is just not the greatest but if you get a phone make sure it can roam on 850 Mhz GSM that can mean the difference between no signal and full bars in some rural areas. I have also found the motorola phones to be the worst performers and the nokias to be the best as far as signal goes with the samsungs in the middle. Hope I helped.

Also take into account your phone model will greatly effect your reception.
To be honest some phones have great reception, some are garbage.

    Re: Reception?

I live in NYC and attend school in midtown manhattan, and the reception is terrible in my school. I cannot get any reception in the building unless I am literally standing by a window.

I didn't have this problem with Cingular.

I have great signal, living in Houston, Tx
In school I had no signal when I had a Razr,
but now with my Nokia 5300 I always have at least two bars.

    Re: Reception?

I live in DC .....in the MD & VA Metro Area & the reception is some SH!%.... I have alot of dropped calls & cant call out when I want to. I should have stayed with SPRINT. At least I could make a call whenever I needed to & had way better reception. I heard AT&T is like TMobile as far as the reception. The only thing verizon has on SPRINT in DC is that U can use a Verizon Phone on the underground metro station.
