Big problems: our best installer/repairman has a Motorola V360, which is a replacement that he received because of a problem with the earlier version of this phone. Specifically the speakers and sound problems, and battery charging. He is now having similar problems hearing the phone using the speakerphone.

He wants a replacement, and the phone he is interested in is a slider. I don't think a slider is a good choice for him because he is in a loud, dusty, dirty environment, and he's one of those guys who really gets into his work, and I think the phone gets abused in the process.

The T-Mobile choices are not very durable, and the ones that tech support told me were durable enough are all about the same as the phone he has. He's only had this phone for a month. Our contract only stretches so far, and I'm seriously looking at having to tell him to start treating his phone like a baby because he doesn't have much choice.

Has anyone had any experience with a durable phone that has the blutooth, camera & memory card? I know it's tall order, but he needs those things so we can keep him safe on the road, and to keep track of repairwork for our files. I am starting to lean toward another provider...

Only phone i can think of is Motorola V3m with verizon. Most of the phones that will take a memory card are high end delicate phones. Its will be very difficult to find a phone thats robust and can take a memory card as well.
