messanger help

i just got the Motorola Rizr Z3 and went to the menu to "instant Messaging" then tryed to get on my aim but then it tells me "aim sign on failed" can u help me get on? also do u need a certain plan to use it?

Are you still having this problem? They told me it could take up to 24 hours for the data service to become active, even after the phone and sms features are already activated.

what do you mean by do you need a certain plan to use it ?

you could try turning you phone off & back on.
or you could call tmobile.

Yes to use the Instant messenger features you need the internet to connect the messenger application. REMEMBER!!!! if you message on AIM /YAHOO or any messenger client on your phone..it counts as a text message!
