    All,
    I just bought a Blackberry Pearl 8100 to use as a teather to my Apple Powerbook. It works very poorly, intermittently and often doesn't even connect.

    Anyone had luck with this setup?

    Or is there another solution to getting internet on the laptop, without a $60 a month card?

    tmo runs of EDGE so its not as fast as if you used CINGULAR 3g
