My RAZR is dying. its not holding a charge. I took it in to the T-Mobile store, and they tested it out, its not the battery, its the phone. I was told that the phone is still under warranty, but there are some dings on it, and what looks like a water spot under the front screen, so i have about a 50/50 chance of it being covered. The phone hasn't been dropped recently, and has never been in water, but there's a spot thats been there for a long time, it doesn't bother me, so i ignored it. I cannot afford a brand new phone, whatever I do get will have to be less than $50. I was wondering if I could buy a t-mobile prepaid phone, and just put my sim in there. I know it can be done with cingular phones, so I'd assume its the same with T-mobile, but just wanted to check. My contract is up in may, and i plan on changing providers at that time, so there's no point in me renewing my contract to get another phone through t-mobile, i just need something that will last me for another 6 months.
