I was going to order new T-Mobile service and phone on Amazon and once it comes ask T-Mobile to transfer over Verizon number. Does a Verizon to T-Mobile transfer usually go ok? Any estimate on the length to complete?
Thanks!!

Re: Transfer verizon to t-mobile usually go ok?
Actually my wife wants to. She is on an old local plan, so she can't leave the county without getting roaming (she has kept it cause it has 1500 minutes for $29.99).
She uses a lot of minutes, and T-Mobile current promotion of 1500 minutes for $39.99 is quite a deal.
Of course, we are aware that the network isn't as good.
Thanks for answering the question.

thats a good deal on tmobile but what are the features they offer with it ive noticed since working for sprint in the past and now verizon so yes ill promote them all day long. but anyway make sure you look at what is included in the plan for tmobile like in knw if you get myfav you have to pay for mobile to mobile and iv also seen at one point they didnt offer unl nights and weekends you had to pay extra for it regardless if tmobile offers 1500 for that cheap go with it just make sure you look at everything it has to offer and also look at right now with verizon if you update your plan think about how many people your wife talks to that have verizon for the free mobiel to mobile

Yep. Thanks. Right the 1500 package is it, no weekends/nights and no mobile to mobile. However, for her habits it is a very good deal.
Thanks for keeping me in check though. I'm going to wait a couple days and we'll continue to weigh the situation. Probably staying with them and just keep roaming sometimes or going to T-mobile are both decent options.
