Is there any Nextel that would work?

Hi I'd really like to get a nextel style motorola phone. Something like the ic502 or ic602. Is there any possibility of putting my t-mobile sim card in one of these? Or if anyone could reccomend a more durable style phone for me that works with t-mobile I would really appreciate it!

A T-Mobile sim card is not compatable with Nextel's iden technology..
Unfortunately, phones now a days just keep getting more and more fragile as more technology and features are integrated so your choices for a rugged phone are minimal.

for instance wouldn't there be a chance to get a motorolla phone before they're adapted to nextel's technology? sorry if I sound thick-headed. there's even a few unlocked ic502 motorolas on e-bay that list Technology: GSM

William an iden phone will not work with a GSM carrier as i stated before.

The Razr v8 is called the Razr2 v8 to be exact, it's on t-mobile's site, however having a Razr2 myself, it is far from being the rugged phone you are looking for.

heh, thanks man. I guess there are just quite a few typos on e-bay and people wanting to claim their unlocked phones will work with absolutely any network. thanks for your help.
