So. I use to have a T-Mobile Shadow. The phone was decent but I hated the lag on mine and sometimes when i slid the screen up, it didn't answer my calls, it just froze lol. The phone is still under warranty for another 6 months. But just recently I kind of went a crap load of minutes over my phone bill last month so I haven't had it since. Me and my stupid immaturity.

So a couple weeks ago, my girlfriend actually gets a really nice phone with unlimited texting and everything. I'm not too sure what kind it is though. But it looks like a regular phone, then you turn it on it's side and it slides up and there is a full keyboard. Im going to say it kind of looks like a Sumsung Glyde, but the keyboard is way bigger and more full and the screen is a bit bigger and its not a touch screen. It looks exactly like the HTC Pro Touch. Same layout and everything, without the touch screen lol.

Stupid me doesn't have my phone so i decided to do something about it so we could communicate. Went to Wal-Mart and grabbed a Boost Mobile i425t with a $30 phone card. I signed up for the chat plan which is a $1 a day with unlimited texting. 10cents a minute throughout the day and free nights and weekends. Sounded like a good plan. Well I have had the phone for a week and my texting still isn't working. I have been on the phone with Boost multiple times and they have informed me that they are having serious issues and to call back in 96 hours. But that's a whole other issue and i now can relate to the gentlemen in the boost forum ranting lol. At least they put more money in my account for their idiot mistakes.

I still have my sim card from my tmobile shadow because i took it back before my folks took my phone away and my friend was actually nice enough to give me her Samsung Katalyst but i figured out quickly that my folks suspended my account so the phone is useless to me.

Unless i try to put my boost card in the Samsung Katalyst. I was able to unlock the phone but on the bottom of the phone it just says SEARCHING instead of BOOST so i figured it doesnt work lol.

So here I am. I have now a Samsung Katalyst, a T-Mobile Shadow, and now a Boost Mobile 425t. I have no service on my t-mobile account(unless there is a way without my folks getting the bill and saying wtf ) I can make and recieve calls from my boost account but no text messaging until 5 days i guess. So i'm kinda stuck? lol

I'm also thinking about selling my Shadow and the Katalyst and even the boost phone for a really nice T-Mobile phone. But here lies the problem. Im not due for an upgrade for t-mobile until 2010. And to tell you the truth, i don't like any of the t-mobile phones. Even the sidekick seems a bit odd and ugly to me. Sorry sidekick fans :/ .

So I want my t-mobile service in a non-t-mobile phone. I understand the old iphones can be unlocked and can be used for t-mobile service. But what i really am looking for is something like my girlfriends phone. I really just want a phone with a full keyboard that slides i guess because i am a big texter. I dont care about internet or anything like that. I love texting and the voice quality on the phone has to be really good so i can understand people. I know that sounds corny but some phones suck at voice quality.

So any suggestions or help or something? What phone could i buy that would work with a tmobile sim card? I understand i would have to unlock it. It would really be greatly appreciated if you guys could help me out with my situation. I also am looking at the HTC Pro Touch. That looks nice. Also this is my first post

I do not have tmobile phones, I have unlocked att phones and got a tmo flex pay plan. Buy a att tilt or 8521, 8525 or even 2g iphone from craigslist. the htc phones can be $10 for unlock codes from ebay, iphone unlocked free off of the internet.

unless you buy already unlocked. then go to tmobile online and buy a sim card starter kit or go into a tmo store and set up a flex pay account.
iphone on tmo, 8525 on tmo
