i did some looking around but was till unable to figure out the answer i am looking for, so hopefully somebody can help me out.. i am thinking of getting the wing based on it being a windows based OS, my question is i have a program that i need to run for one of my vehicles via a laptop i am wondering if there would be away to load that program onto the wing and run it with the wing.
all the program says that it needs is windows 95,98, NT, 2000 or better

With the speed of the Wing as compared to that of a laptop and the fact that if you did get the app to work would slow it down even more. I don't think you really want to do that.
It probably won't work anyway. The wing uses Windows Mobile. A little different than 98/200/XP/Vista. There are probably apps for the wing out there somewhere that are similar to what yours does, but I honestly think you are better off the way you have it now.

what type of program is that? just like what tysonvid said i dont think the wmo is designed for full apps for win xp.

No program written for a pc will work on a cell phone. Not even a windows mobile phone. The operating systems are different. They look somewhat similar, and mostly work well together, but they are different. And that is due to the differences in hardware.
