I have a Blackberry Curve and I am not sure what happened because now on my screen where T-Mobile used to show up it says SIM not allowed. And where my bars used to be it shows up as SOS. Did i do something to cause this and what can i do to fix it?

Re: SIM not allowed
My Curve used to have this same problem, but it seem to be hardware related in that the SIM slot was defective.

Re: SIM not allowed
It could be a software or device issue; however, it sounds like your phone's SIM has been fried, which means you may need another .
Just call T-Mobile to see if a replacement SIM will work (that's about $25-$35; however.)
SOS means you can still place calls to 9-1-1
