i have a sidekick slide with the prepaid plan, and I had 0.61 left on my balance and they warned me, so that day I went and bought a card and got 10$ added to my account, about 3 hours after that it said my device is going to reset and will restart automatically, well when that happens I lose most of my things, and a screen will come up where I sign in then it says welcome back and says something about a serial number being new or something, well it does it every 5 minutes and its pissing me off it keeps resetting constantly and doing that I have no idea why i've tried taking the battery out, the sim out, master resetting it, nothing works,

Re: resetting prob with my sidekick slide

Sounds like an OS issue to me. I did a search and there is an OS (operating system) update out there, maybe you should try doing that.
    https://rsddownload.motorola.com/dow...are_Update.exe
Download that file, install it and run it.
If not, take it into a T-Mobile store and have them run a software reload / upgrade.

That software that I listed above gets downloaded to your computer. Then you hook up the phone to your computer with the USB data cable.... assuming you got one.

    With the software listed above.

Download it, install it. Then follow the on screen instructions. It will autosense your phone, then download the firmware to the phone.
It's all done through your computer and the internet on your computer.

It's really not that hard, just give it a shot, and if you have questions during the upgrade, post here and I'll see what I can do.

Prepaid or no prepaid, Motorola has a one year warranty on all phones. The one year begins on the date of purchase.

You don't have a warranty through T-Mobile. But Motorola you do.

    Yeah, give it a shot.

If it yells at you saying it's out of warranty, I hate to direct you to another site, but you might want to try ModMyMoto.com

They have reflash files that you can use, plus walk thru's on how to do it, and what software you are going to need.

Unplug it from the desktop, start, the program, then once it's running, then plug it in.
You will see the mouse cursor turn to a little black cellphone when it starts reading your phones information.

Also, make sure the phone is powered On before you plug it into the USB port.
