Hey,

New to this forum.

I have been a tmo customer for at least 6 years and am currently on a month-to-month plan.

I decided to "upgrade" my phone thru amazon to an HTC HD2. Since I didn't have a contract I thought I could claim to be a new customer. Thus saving me $100 (vs upgrade).

My mistake.

Now I understand that the special pricing is to attract new customers but what about keeping old customers happy?

From what I've read in this forum calling cust srvc doesn't seem to be an option.

This alone would convince me to switch carriers.

Does anyone know if calling cust srvc is likly to get me the deal from amazon?

Also I'd like someone to verify that tmo treats their current customers as second class citizens in the case of selection of new phones.

I went to look at the cost of plans for an upgrade and couldn't find the HTC HD2 phone on the list of available phones.

If I went in as a new customer the phone was on the list.

I'd earlier seen temp out of stock on the phone and I know there's a backlog on the phone.

Any advice and info would be appreciated.

Thanks
