At first it wasnt exciting to me. It seemed that the makers of the phone was going to ride out the sucessful name of the G1 by making the sequal, G2 but with mid level guts.
Not that Information has been exposed I can asure T-mobile fans that this phone is worth buying. It will have a 3.7" display screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The processor runs at a spead of 800MHz with an intergrated GPU for graphics renderingt. The G2 is expected to performe close to the same level as the DROID X and the Samsung Vibrant Galaxy s smart phone acording TMOnews.com. Finally the G2 will be the first phone to make use of the updated 3G (3.5G?) HSPA+ netowrk with speeds that may reach up to 27Mb/s.

I would go for an android phone any day they added UMA. Without that I am sticking with my Blackberry of which I have tired out but have no options for a change.

I am very much looking forward to the G2! It looks like everything I loved about the G1 plus more!
