I have a few phones, each with a different phone number -- let's call them A, B, and C. To make sure I receive all calls regardless of which phone is accessible to me, I use a service which has assigned me another phone number, Z. All calls to Z automatically get forwarded to A, B, and C. The only phone number I give out is Z. My business cards are printed with Z. As long as everyone calls Z, everything works great.

The problem is that if I make an outgoing call from A, B, or C, caller ID lets the recipient see A, B, or C as my phone number. Then they put A, B, or C in their phonebook and, even though I've told everyone that Z is the only number they should ever use, they inevitably call or text me at A, B, or C, and I miss the call or lose the message in voicemail limbo.

I would prefer to arrange things so that, when I call or text from A, B, or C, the recipient would see Z on their caller ID. From my research, I know this is called "spoofing". I've heard that spoofing is common, but I don't know how to do it.

Is spoofing a good option for me? If so, how do I do it? All advice is appreciated.

P.S. I'm hoping this question can be answered in general. However, if the phone service matters, I'm using a T-Mobile pay-as-you-go account and a Verizon land line.
