T-Mobile lg g2x on att

is it possible i have a rooted g2x on cyrogen mod 7 eit reconized a boost sim but not a att i am assuming it is unlocked cause of other mods att store thought it may be apn settings and dont know anything about then or how to tell if it is unlocked it will say no sim when you take one out but gives no messege when you put another in other than no service i dont have a T-Mobile sim to try but have one coming

I believe if it wasn't unlocked it would say "Sim network unlock PIN". I don't see why it wouldn't work on AT&T.
