What are your thoughts with T-Mobiles newly launched Uncarrier? They are removing contracts in their plans, allowing existing customers out of contract, and their LTE network is now live in some areas. Also, they will be offering the iPhone 5 by April 12.

I think it's a good move for competition. Anything that raises awareness about how expensive most contract plans are is a good thing.

But there's nothing in their new offerings that looks like a better deal to me than Solavei.

    Re: T-Mobile Uncarrier

I think it's a good move, and I think it might be preparing them for merging with MetroPCS. MetroPCS is contract free and also has an LTE network. I like how T-Mobile is still allowing people to finance the phone, and how they show it separate from the monthly plan. Although, it would probably be cheaper to purchase the phone elsewhere instead of getting it through T-Mobile.

The family plan with five lines is a great deal, I believe it comes out to $22 per month, per line. It's too bad it's not that good of a deal for those that want fewer lines.

I also think they should have some plans without unlimited minutes for those that want to save some money money, but this is probably another move because of MetroPCS, who mainly offers just unlimited plans.

I agree with the both you. I think it's their best move yet, and I'm looking forward for a successful merge with Metro. They are currently the #4 in US wireless carrier, I think their ranking will improve in a year or so. For me, T-Mobile is the best carrier.

For people with a lot of lines, the family plan options look great.

I've thought about sharing the T-Mobile family plan with five people, but if one person decides to back out, the cost goes up for everyone.

That's the risk. It's why I'll stay with Solavei, and take advantage of their referral program instead.

$89 per month is a lot. With T-Mobile you won't pay more than $50 plus tax (unless you need more high speed data).

I see your carrier is listed as T-Mobile. How do you like it?

I can't imagine paying $89 per month for cell phone service. The most my bill has been was $55 per month with Cricket, and then I switched to a much cheaper provider.

I like T-Mobile's new plans but I would really prefer to pay the $22/month which is the per line price when having five lines. Are you on a family plan or a single line plan?
