I've searched numerous times for software to create my own ringtones and cannot find anything. I have an LG C1300 through Cingular. Also, I have my own data cable, so I can send them directly through there. Is there anything?

Have you searched the forums for answers?
What kind of ringtones are you attempting to create?
Have you noticed the sticky threads at the top of the ringtone forum?

There are numberous music editing software out there. You must not have looked hard enough.
Although, I personally use Adobe Audition 1.5. Its very easy to crop and convert music. Then again, I only use it to make .mp3 ringers. I dont mess around with any other formats.

Sorry if I was posted this in the wrong forum or if it has been posted before. Yes, I did search for it in this forum, and I've also looked through all of Google. I still cannot find anything. DataPilot did not work either. I want to create mmf ringtones if possible. Thank you for any other help.

No, I am not refering to that. The software that I found only converts MP3's to mmf format. There isn't a feature to send them to my phone through a data cable.

3rd. If the software converts to mmf, im sure that there is a directory where those mmf's are stored. If it does, you should just be able to send it over through your usb cable normally. At least, I would think.

I am using MP3 To Ringtone. It's the 1.22 version. It is saved to my documents. How would I send them to my usb normally?

well have you ever used the data cable before? if not, you should have instructions on how to do it, that came with the software when you installed it. I think at least.
Have you done a search on the net for this already? Im sure you can find instructions on how to do it by searching. Somebody has had to do it and posted the way on how to do it.Last edited by tooldef6; 09-18-2005 at 11:12 PM.

I've used the data cable to send wallpapers to my phone using DataPilot. However, I cannot make my own ringtones using DataPilot. I did not get any software to send these tones to my phone. The only software I have is that for the computer to recognize the phone. . .

What version of DataPilot do you currently have? The exact version. Also, what is the model number of your data cable?
From what Ive found on the net, DataPilot has a "ringtone composer" where you can inport/export various formats of ringers via your usb cable.
here are the websites i have been looking at:
1. http://www.datapilot.com/universalfeatures.htm
2. http://www.cellphonemall.net/wireles...67&phoneid=440
Did you pay for this datapilot? If you did, it is registered and you should be able to upgrade the software through the website.
If not, I have found software for datapilot, but I need to make sure it is compatiable for your phone and data cable.
