Well, this is my first, but probably not my last post on here. I just recently banged my a520 and ruined the lcd. I can barely make out a pixel. The phone still works fine otherwise which is a testament to Samsung's engineering and reliabilty. Their phones are built to last it seems because I've been fairly rough on this particular model and haven't had to replace anything including the battery. Suffice it to say my next phone will most likely be a Samsung. I digress. My question is this: I can no longer view any information on the main screen so a manual data transfer is impossible (ie. me copying each contact into my new phone line by line lol). In speaking to a Telus representative tonight, she mentioned that some Telus dealers now have a relatively new technology that will allow them to transfer data from one phone to another for a small fee ($25 I believe). What have people heard about this so far? Thanks in advance.
