Sch-a670 Pcsync Mode?

Hi, I manage to get a data cable and usb drivers but I can't get any software to work with it. I even tried the original from samsung with their own drivers, software said it's not connected. I tried bitpim, it doesn't detect my phone. I tried the software that came with my cable doesn't detect the drivers. Now, I manage to get PCSYNC MODE on my phone. What I did is launch bitpim, tell him to get phone info, it then do a stack error but my phone enter PCSYNC MODE. No other program was able to do that. It's only when that mode is active that the samsung software detect my phone, but then told me that my phone is not supported. All other software simply do nada. Bitpim crash everytime I try to do something (I got a stack trace and an error saying "brew... file not found").

Any body know about that pcsync mode and how to activate that?

also, I'd like to have a drivers/software combination that work with telus phones lol!

i have an a-670 as well.. Bitpim works just dosent detect your phone.. kinda weird.. but heres a good site to help you.

If you're lazy, you can follow the same steps to connect to the phone's file system then just overwrite existing ringers and sound clips with whatever you wanna use "right click on it and select overwrite)... the name on the phone will still be whatever you had before but the ringer it plays will be whatever you overwrote it with.

same sort of stuff but they talk about adding games as well. I've done this with my phone and have put in new ringtones and wallpaper, but I havn't put in any games yet. Make sure you follow the steps, and don't delete anything (pictures or ringtones) from your phone in BitPim. If you want to delete anything, make sure you do so from your phone. Hope this helps.
