I have the Nokia 6265 or 6265i whichever you call it, it's the black slider. I got it through Telus. I have a problem with setting the ringtone. The ringtone I had was .mid and it wouldn't allow me to use it, then it said "not allowed by the activation key". I then converted the ringtone to .mp3 and it still wouldnt let me use it. What format does it have to be to work?
Please help me people

I don't know the answer for your question exactly but my guess would be that you won't be able to set any custom ringtone on your phone because Telus disables that option with it's phones. You can download/transfer mp3's, mid's, etc. to the phone but the feature to set them as a ringtone has been disabled. You'd need to mod the phone in order to be able to set your own ringers.
Hope that helps a bit.
