How would you rate it on a scale of 1-5? 5 being the high end of the scale.

What would you say you like the best about their service and what do you dislike about their service?

    Re: Telus Service

    I'd say 0.
I don't think I'm being picky with my phone, but it's the biggest piece of crap I've ever had and Telus isn't going to compensate me for it.
I bought a Nokia 6265i from one of their dealers in June of last year, I've returned it 10 times (no joke) since then due it freezing, crashing, over heating, melting my memory card, whiping stuff off my memory card and phone, etc. They compensated me for 3 months of Spark 7 ($21) because one of the temporary phones I had was unable to text message.
They offered me a new phone within 6 months of my 3 year contract ending IF I rebought another 3 year plan, which I won't.
They charged me long distance for answering a call from a Telus person who was calling me about my complaints when I was in an aircraft over Langley at 3000'. They said I was roaming since I was in line of sight of some stations in USA.
I work out at Pitt Meadows and about 40% of my calls are dropped within 2 minutes. And my phone overheats and turns off if I'm in a call for more than 40 minutes.
It's horrible service, go with Rogers.

    Re: Telus Service

    I would also give it a 0.
The reason for this is because they just plain suck. I have had millions of lost calls in a 2 year duration with this phone. Not only this but I always lose service/signal in many places within city limits. As well my phone is horrible. I have an LG4600. It would often turn off randomly and turn back on. As well recently it started to get glitches. It would not allow me to access the menu or even call anyone. When I went to get it fixed they recommended that I just get a pay-and-talk phone and add it to my contract. When I did this, my old phone was deactivated. Once this happened it began to work perfectly. When I asked Telus to return my money (which I paid for the switching of phones) they said it was impossible even though they gave me a receipt for 14 days warranty. I told them I would cancel my contract seeing as they have screwed me over a few times and as soon as i said this they automatically told me my money would be returned as credit and would show up on my next bill. This shows that they are terrified of losing a customer.

    I'd give it a 0

Service is terriable, I've constantly lost or had dropped singals when talking making it impossible to have a conversation. I don't find their customer service very good or helpful. Plus the selection of phones suck big time.

    I'd give it a 1.

My friend once got refunded for $10 on his pay-and-talk, I know thats nothing but atleast they gave him 'something'. Not being able to upgrade his phone and poor phone selection nails the coffin for Telus IMO.

    Re: Telus Service

    I stayed away from Telus.
My company has a contract with them and they got ***ked hard.
Lots of zero coverage areas in Southwestern Ontario.
Don't do it no matter what the deal is.
Their service coverage is likely the worst in rural Canada, way worse than Bells.
