dropped calls for iphone

My wife and I have been Telus customers since 2005 and we recently upgraded from Motorola KRAZORs to iPhone 3GS' and we have noticed that we are having an increased number of dropped calls. In our previous 4 years with Telus we very rarely experienced dropped calls.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a fix? Thanks!

I have the same problem with my 3G. I have had the phone since November 09 but the problem has been since the middle of march or April.

I also find that the system does not connect the call it sends me (if I am calling someone else on Telus) directly to their voicemail.

My neighbour and his wife also have these problems (we got the same phone at the same time).

Telus said there is a problem with the sim cards as we were one of the first to get the 3G, but since a sim swap, my neighbour is still having problems. A visit to Apple's techie at the Apple store was no help.
