[Help] Telus cell phones

well i am currently in a 3 year contract with telus with 2 year left. ( got this contract last xmas) i have a blackberry storm 1 not 2. and on that Christmas we were supposed to go with rogers but on my mother account it would cost 250$ activation fee for me and my sister adding up to 500$ my mom was not going to pay that fee so my aunt who is with telus said that she would put our phones under her account and we gladly accepted when i bought the phone i had though it was a touchscreen and not a big button basically so i just went along with it i want to change my phone but have little information known. i only know that it cost 25$ to change and the price of the phone? but since my aunt lives about 350km away my mom says i cant change without her being here. is that correct? could someone please update me on what would go on ? and i would like to change this phone with either a blackberry curve or a iPhone (but is probably unlikely for the iPhone)

Hi there, is the contract in your name or your aunts? If it is in your name you can change your phone, just be aware that you may be signing up for another 3 year contract.
