    I have a new Sanyo 4920 with Sprint PCS. The phone switches modes from Sprint to Automatic by itself. I am not saying that it begins roaming; rather, I am saying that I set the phone to stay on Sprint PCS and it changes modes automatically to the "automatic" mode.

    Has anyone heard of this problem?

    Yes, and be aware of roaming charges. I suggest that you keep your distinctive ringer on for roaming to make sure you don't mess up and answer a call while roaming.

    I had my phone flashed today to the latest firmware, version 1.006SP, and tonight it went back to Automatic again. Big bummer. :-(
