Does the Sony Ericsson K750i have anything the W800i doesn't?

Or is the W800i essentially a K750i plus a bit more?

    Thanks,

    SB

Have you looked at the specifications for each phone before asking?
Use google or another search engine, it would save a lot of time and you're
guaranteed to get the correct info from the manufacturer.

I looked at Sony Ericsson's site, and used their "compare phones"
function. It didn't show up any advantages of the K750i over the W800i.

But while this function includes the phone specifications, it doesn't
necessarily tell you everything about what each phone offers.

I could plough through the manuals, etc. and compare them line by
line, but even that might not tell me everything.

After all, there's always the element of user experience. For example,
looking at the specifications or the manual for my current phone (a
Sony Ericsson T300i) doesn't tell me that, while you can change the
sound it makes when you receive a text, you don't seem to be able to
change the sound it makes when someone receives a text that you sent them.

Unfortunately, it's also my experience that you're NOT "guaranteed to
get the correct info from the manufacturer". And even if it is
    correct, it's not always complete.

So I figured that some helpful soul might know the answer. Now that
really "would save a lot of time"...

Yes, a half decent fascia (unlike the hideous W800i).

More or less. They are identical mechanically and only differ in styling,
slight modifications to firmware (which is interchangable between the two
anyway) and the included equipment (larger memory card with the W800).

Yes, it is pretty ugly, isn't it!

    Thanks for that.

I think I read in "Which?" that if you change the software on the
K750i to make it into a better MP3 player (effectively turning it into
a lower memory but better looking W800i, I guess), then you invalidate
your warranty. So probably something to check out further before going
    down that route.

But I don't think I really care that much what it looks like, so the
W800i is probably a better bet for me (they're both free on the
    contracts I'm looking at).

    Thanks again,

    SB

True because there is no official way to flash the phone with alternate
    firmware.
