89p to call or receive a call on Tesco, they're all a bit of a ripoff when
    it comes to roaming.

BTW make sure you get the ordinary Tesco SIM if you want to be able to use
it abroad, the Value one only works in the UK.

But 10p/min to your 3 favourite numbers, or 10p/min to anyone if you buy a
    monthly bundle.

It also works off O2 not T-Mobile which has to be a plus point..!

As is Tesco Value - 15p a min cross net, and 5p a text.

Admittedly, the bundles expire after 30 days as well, so if you don't
    use them, it's a waste.

    Agreed there.

Indeed, but you can't have favourite numbers or roam abroad with Value.

You'd presumably only buy one if you anticipate using all the minutes.
Even so, £5 a month for 50 minutes is still cheaper than any contract..!

I assume you are talking about Tesco Mobile. Where is the detail on these
bundles? I had never heard anything about this and I can't find anything
    here:

    http://www.tescomobile.com/tariff.aspx

You weren't looking very hard then, it's in the comparison columns a bit
further down the page you give in that link. Takes you here:

I am not promoting easyMobile but they have a Comparison table on their
website http://tinyurl.com/8qbwh which seems reasonably fair.

Thanks, that's a useful table. They don't mention the Tesco bundles
    though.

Which could include, say, 1899's 020 access number, right?
