Hi,
Advice greatfully accepted,....
Ordered a new phone from O2 online today, I'm currently on Orange PAYG. I
want to keep the same number.
So
O2's site seems to suggest getting the PAC from Orange - then entering it
into the web form along with the O2 order number, and all will be well.
So that I can keep the loss of service down to a minimum, I thought I could
get the new O2 phone, then request the PAC from Orange, then give it to O2
so that they can change my number to the the ex-Orange one.
Is that possible? It's also slightly complicated by the fact that my order
is out of stock.....
ta in advance

The PAC is valid for 30 days after you receive it. I'd wait until you have
the new phone in your hot little hands before requesting a PAC, just in
case.

Nice Idea, but don't O2 usually insist on having the PAC as early as
possible (ie at order time).

Re: PAC from Orange -> O2
Nah you can move your number over to the o2 contract anytime you want (just
take delivery first)
I would use the web form rather than call, if you do call make sure you get
through to the Alness site as if its glasgow it will go wrong every time,
Trust me.
