Had to port my number from 3 to O2 PAYG as my 3 contract was finishing. So
topped up a PAYG O2 SIM with £10, and registered to get the additional £2.50
credit. Subsequent checking of my balance revealed I had £12.50 credit.

When my number was ported, the credit reverted again to £10. Does this mean
I have to now have to reregister the number that was ported?

I'm interested in checking/managing my account online, and I have sometime
ago registered online (with genie) a mobile number that I still use. I wish
to add my other number to this account. Is there a way to add additional
numbers to the account without deregistering the old one? Or do I have to
reregister with another username?
