It seems that every time I ring an O2 number that isn't answered, I get a
stock message back.
Can you not customise the voicemail message?

Yes you can, but not everyone does or wants to.

well every time you sit a T mobile phone down anywhere near Glasgow you lose
service..so you would need to have the answering machine on and
personalised because it is used SO often.....

Unlike you two I don't drink....or I might start thinking 1800Mhz only
systems were acceptable out in the wilds of central Scotland...

T-Mobile is crap anywhere. Orange is very good though in most places. I'm
talking about coverage not customer service, you understand ;-)

You can't say T-Mobile is crap anywhere, as in most places you get a very good
signal, I have found more places in Birmingham where Orange has no reception.
There are also places in Birmingham where Vodafone doesn't get reception. I
gave up testing O2 as that is just a crap service. Outside Birmingham I never
really tested much, other then general use for work purposed when I was doing
field service, the phone just worked when on T-Mobile, using O2 the calls
would constantly drop, Vodafone was just crap. Both O2 and Vodafone sound
quality just isn't quite there, as it is with Orange and T-Mobile.

He's an obsession that 1800MHz systems don't work. The opposite of the
truth, but hey!
