When I connected the Rokr to my PC via the USB cable it doesn't show up
as a removeable disk in Windows Explorer / My Computer or as an icon in
iTunes.
I took the first Rokr back yesterday and the person in The Link went in
the back to see if he could get it to connect to a PC and he had the
same problem. So they replaced the phone, but got it home yesterday and
tried to sync with my PC and the same problem has happened again.
I've checked that the flash memory card is firmly in place, and I've
removed the Nokia PC software I used to connect my previous phone to my
PC.
I'm using XP with SP2 and iTunes 4.9.0.17 (the version provided on the
CD with the phone).
Does anybody have any ideas about what might be wrong?

I've found the supplied usb cable that I got with mine to be a bit flaky.
Sometimes itrequires a bit of a "jiggle" at the phone end (bit of a
technical term there, sorry):-)
Also make sure the cable is pushed in quite hard to the phone, sometimes
when I'm updating my i-tunes it stops half way through due to the cable not
making a good connection.

Right, thanks. Unfortunately, I've tried that and it still doesn't work,
so I'll have to take the 2nd one back.
