Hi Jackie,
I got a dongle for my nokia from the 02 shop, you just plug it into a usb
connector, you have to install a bit of a disc, name your pc, and name the
phone, and when you turn your phone on it searches and finds your pc, then
you just transfer it, and pick which folder to go into. As I'm with o2... I
suspect you can get them cheaper elsewhere! I got the wire thing, but that
was next to useless for me, as it involved a bit of hard work.... the dongle
is quicker for me
dont know about the sagem though!

If you cannot get a dongle specific to this phone or if you aren't likely to
be using the Sagem phone much in the future getting an InfraRed IRDA USB
lead instead is just as good. InfraRed leads are good in that any phone
with infrared capability can use the same lead so that you don't have to
have one lead for each phone you connect. The downside is that it takes
more to set things up and ensure that it is communicating correctly and also
transfer rates are slower.
The phone does not come with the software to transfer stuff to your PC. Go
to the Sagem website www.sagem.co.uk and select the GSM phone link. It will
then transfer you to the Sagem Online website where there are instructions
on how to download third-party software to achieve this.

With a USB IRDA dongle (make sure that a USB cable comes with it - I used Ebay's cheapest dongle -
don't try to use any CD provided if you have XPsp2) on an XPsp2 computer you can simply put the
phone next to it and "send" photos after enabling Infra Red on the phone. On the website:
http://www.planetsagem.com/index.php?name=tools
You can download the MPAS software to make this easier and presumably do two-way transfers but I
have not used this (phone got stolen!). I would predict a problem using MPAS with XPsp2 but it's
free so try and see!
