Motorola V635 default sim pincode?

The (poorly translated) manual appears to indicate the default sim pin
is 1234.

However, this fails, as does 1111.

I've only got one try left before I block the sim............anyone
know more than the monkeys who translated the Motorola manual?

The handset has nothing to do with the SIM PIN. 1234 is the default
security code, with 0000 being the lock code.

For your PIN you will need to consult your network. Or the place you
bought the SIM.

It seems that the 'monkeys' know more than you do.

A default SIM PIN is network specific and can be obtained from that
network.

If you are referring to the phone unlock code, I think Jon has
answered the question for you.

The manual for the phone can't tell you anything about the sim card or
its pin code. That's related to the network/service provider, not the
phone.

I bought my wife a V220 (not a v635) on Orange PAYG for xmas and after
like you trying to make an educated guess as to the PIN I manged to lock it.

The only way back was via Orange CS.

I subsequently sent for an Orange PAYG SIM for my V635 to use whilst
abroad (better if my non insured phone gets nicked) remembered my
experience as above and when I registered the SIM asked Orange CS for
the SIM PIN which they gave me straight away.

I suspect you will need to ask your networks CS for the same info.

The manual will have no relation to the SIM at all; the SIM and mobile phone
handset are seperate entities.

If you had googled "orange default sim pin" you wouldn't be posting here.
